We have known since the Ancient Greeks, even more so since Hegel, that both in the field of thinking and actions, the phrasing of notions and conceptions, the eventual debates over them, as well as events of everyday or historical dimension occur along and in the form of theses and antitheses, then, with some luck, along syntheses. We also know that syntheses often emerge with difficulty. What is more, in many cases series of theses and antitheses get to grips with each other for a long period of time, without the hope of ever creating syntheses. Of course, this syllogism from Antiquity is not sufficient as a reflective model for the interpretation of real and mental phenomena that inun-date us. Still, we may recognize a certain mental-interpretational ide-ology that can be outlined in the form of this dialectic model, its es-sence being Afrocentrism set against a Eurocentric approach.
