The internationally famous French artist Jean-Marc Bustamante presented at Villa Medici, in Rome, a selection of his work of over thirty years, together with his choice of paintings by the Dutch painter Pieter Jansz Saenredam and in spaces and on walls created by the French artist Balthus when he was director of the French Academy in Rome - Villa Medici, between 1961 and 1977. The catalogue shows in 128 pages and 98 illustrations and photographs, the connections between the two artists apparently so different.
