This album presents the artistic, pedagogical and political activities initiated by Tamas Peli among Roma intellectuals, emerging in the 1970s and taking off at the end of the century. Istvan Szentandrassy also sought to follow that path. Considering them both to be his masters, drawing on their artistic legacy but not copying them in any way, Ferenc Kunhegyesi Jnr pursues his own work in art effort to become a master himself. A true intellectual and spiritual workshop, the Peli school not only offered guidance in art to painters with a Roma background, but helped Roma intellectuals in general to find a place and purpose in the last decades of the 20th century. The book deals with the motifs and ideas that were critical to the creation of the paintings of Ferenc Kunhegyesi Jnr. He attaches importance to the visual representation of the story and the idea associated with the picture. The majority of his activity consists of experimenting and learning. He has created an independent, distinct imagery that is rich in emotions. He believes that a painting should be educational, convey a message, and provide food for thought
