Peter Weiler is a Hungarian contemporary artist working in Budapest. This book was his graduating MFA thesis at the School of Visual Arts in New York in 2021. Weiler takes the reader on an exciting journey on his family’s history in the context of Hungarian life during and after World War II. While he guides through the experiences growing up under socialism, he conducts art historic and psychological research on how loneliness shapes our life and artistic creativity. This inspirational book is rich in reproductions of original artworks and personal photos all balanced with creative writing and research.
