For already three decades, the Holocaust Memorial Centre and its legal predecessor collects the records of the Hungarian Holocaust. These can be either memoirs, documents, or objects. As the result of the diligent and systematic work of the colleagues, thousands of such special sources are now available at the Holocaust Memorial Centre to researchers, teachers, students, or anybody else interested in history. Throughout this period, in addition to the efforts of collecting and systemizing, the management of the institution considered it important that the objects stored in the institution tell their stories, that, they "come to life" in exhibitions or scientific works.
